Facebook Live: Funding Multiple Sclerosis Research

On December 12, 2018, Brett Drummond (our Co-Founder and Chief Science Communicator) held a Facebook Live event to explore the issue of how multiple sclerosis research is funded.

This topic has inspired great debate amongst our community, with opinion divided over the role pharmaceutical companies should play in the process. During this broadcast, Brett enhanced understanding of the funding avenues available, explained how funding is used once awarded and outlined the mechanisms in place to guard against bias in studies funded by big pharma.
