Today, we are pleased to share recordings of the Patient Community Day event held at the conclusion of MSToronto2026.

Patient Community Day has been built upon the strong belief that progress in multiple sclerosis (MS), NMOSD and MOGAD healthcare is shaped not only by scientific discovery, but also by the experiences and needs of those it seeks to benefit.

Bringing these perspectives into focus, the event offers an opportunity to reflect on the Congress that’s preceded it, examine advances in medical research, consider evolving approaches to treatment and care, and explore what these developments could mean for the health, wellbeing and quality of life of people living with MS, NMOSD and MOGAD.

As in recent years, Patient Community Day was proudly hosted and moderated by our Co-founder, Brett Drummond.

Event Introduction & Session 1: MS Clinical Updates

Session 2: NMOSD & MOGAD Clinical Updates

Session 3: Hot Topics in MS, MOGAD and NMOSD Research

Session 4: Lived Experience Highlights Panel

Bonus Session: Live Expert Q&A

It is important to recognise that sharing the above recordings is made possible thanks to the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS), who have made them available on their official YouTube channel.  ECTRIMS organised this event in partnership with the team behind MSToronto2026.

We must take this opportunity to thank ECTRIMS for once again entrusting and empowering Brett to lead this wonderful and valuable event.  It’s mission and objective aligns so perfectly with the intent and purpose of MStranslate that we could not be more passionate about making it an annual success.  We look forward to renewing our involvement at ECTRIMS Global 2027, to be held in Vienna, Austria, between October 5 – 8.

Finally, it must also be noted that the success of Patient Community Day is built upon the efforts of a vast network of supporting partners and sponsors, located all around the world.  Their combined passion and commitment to supporting people living with MS, NMOSD and MOGAD is unwavering and sincerely appreciated.

If you have questions on any of the topics explored in the Patient Community Day recordings above, please don’t hesitate to post them under this article or on any of our social media channels.
