The ECTRIMS Podcast at MSToronto2026 MStranslate November 5, 2026 Conferences, ECTRIMS, Research The MStranslate team had the privilege of attending MSToronto2026, the 10th joint Congress co-hosted by the Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) and the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS). Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada, the event attracted more than 7,000 registered international delegates from academia, healthcare and industry. Under the theme Unifying Multiple Sclerosis, the conference sought to strengthen collective understanding of MS and related neurological conditions by encouraging the exchange of emerging scientific evidence, clinical expertise and innovative approaches to diagnosis, treatment and care. In doing so, it sought to accelerate scientific progress and foster more personalised approaches to disease management and care, all with the aim of improving the health and quality of life of people living with MS worldwide. As he has done since 2022, MStranslate Co-founder, Brett Drummond, hosted the event’s official daily podcast. Acknowledging that the size and scale of this annual Congress makes it impossible for delegates to attend every session, this podcast captures all of the most important outcomes from each day so that delegates can stay up-to-date on any aspects of the meeting they may not have been able to experience first-hand. In each episode, Brett is joined by a special guest to explore what has taken place, including discussing its importance and value for the broader MS community. We are pleased to share each of these episode below for members of our community to listen to at their convenience. Pre-Day Highlights featuring Dr. E. Ann Yeh, University of Toronto. Listen to it here. Day One Highlights featuring MSToronto2026 Lecturer Daniel S. Reich, M.D., Ph.D., National Institutes of Health (NIH). Listen to it here. To complement the above daily overviews, a special feature was also recorded on the important role multiple sclerosis nurses play in MS care and how they must be supported into the future. For this episode, Brett was joined by Colleen Harris, University of Calgary MS Program, and Jenny Slough, Lead MS Specialist Nurse at UCLH, Queen Square. Listen to it here. On behalf of Brett and the MStranslate team, we sincerely thank the ECTRIMS organisation for the opportunity to remain involved in this fantastic initiative. We look forward to continuing our collaborative work throughout the year ahead and to the opportunity to reconnect at ECTRIMS Global 2027, taking place from October 5–8 in Vienna, Austria.
