Assessing & Monitoring Cognition in MS

MStranslate’s recent communications collaboration with Multiple Sclerosis Auckland delivered an opportunity for our Co-founder, Brett Drummond, to author a contribution for the Winter 2026 edition of their magazine, Multiple News. Titled “Cognition in Multiple Sclerosis: Understanding, Measuring and Responding to Cognitive Decline“, Brett’s article explored the substantial progress made in assessing and monitoring cognition in people living with MS across the last decade. This piece was perfectly complemented by a feature titled “The Symptoms We Don’t Always See“, authored by Professor Hanneke Hulst, Director of the Centre for Brain Research | University of Auckland. In it Professor Hulst outlined the importance of enhancing our understanding of the symptoms of cognitive decline in people living with MS, as these provide a pathway to earlier treatment interventions.
