Recently, MStranslate had the pleasure of participating in a Multiple Sclerosis Auckland webinar to discuss advances in myelin repair research in multiple sclerosis.

Our Co-founder, Brett Drummond, was joined by Dr Nick Cunniffe from the Cambridge Clinical Multiple Sclerosis Research group, who led the recent CCMR Two clinical trial investigating the remyelination potential of metformin and clemastine.  Nick had the honour of presenting the outcomes of this study during the prestigious Late Breaking Abstracts session at ECTRIMS 2025, so this webinar offered a unique opportunity to hear directly from the lead investigator about this groundbreaking research and its implications.

For those that were not able to watch the live broadcast, we are pleased to be able to share a full recording of this event below.

Anyone wanting to learn more about Nick and the work of his research group can do so by clicking here.

We sincerely thank Nicola Bitossi and the MS Auckland team for the opportunity to contribute to such an important and impactful event.  We also extend our sincere gratitude to Nick for generously volunteering his time, expertise and experience, as well as to the live audience for their thoughtful engagement, genuine interest, and insightful questions.
