The MS Milan 2023 Podcast: Daily Episodes MStranslate November 16, 2023 Conferences, ECTRIMS, Podcasts Following the success of The ECTRIMS Podcast 2022 and its subsequent episodes throughout 2023, the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis organisation once again invited our co-founder, Brett Drummond, to host their official congress podcast at MS Milan 2023. Held between October 11 and 13, 2023, in Milan, Italy, this event was the 9th Joint ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS Meeting and the world’s largest multiple sclerosis (MS) research conference. Recorded daily, the podcast engaged a special guest to help review and explore the most relevant outcomes from each day’s presentations. This year, the following three people sat down with Brett to share their knowledge and insights: Day 1: Dr Stephen Hauser, Fishman Distinguished Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr Hauser had the honour of delivering the keynote address at MS Milan 2023. Listen here. Day 2: Clare Walton, Head of Research at MS Society UK. Listen here. Day 3: Mar Tintoré, MD, PhD, ECTRIMS President and Clinical chief of neurology in the Neurology-Neuroimmunology Department at the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centre of Catalonia (Cemcat), at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron (Spain). Listen here. At a meeting where it is impossible for delegates to attend every single presentation delivered, a resource such as The ECTRIMS Podcast is an incredibly important tool, helping attendees stay across the developments they may have missed. Excitingly, Brett’s role as host of The ECTRIMS Podcast will extend into 2024, so stay tuned for future episodes. Check out our main episode library for The ECTRIMS Podcast here. In the interim, if you haven’t yet viewed MStranslate’s own daily research summary videos from MS Milan 2023, please take some time to watch them here.
