Patient Community Day at ECTRIMS 2025

As many will be aware, MStranslate has had the privilege of partnering with the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) since 2022.

The ECTRIMS Podcast

This close collaboration commenced at the Amsterdam Congress, where our Co-founder and Chief Science Communicator, Brett Drummond, was given the honour of hosting the organisation’s inaugural event podcast.  This is a role that Brett has retained across the last 3 years, playing an active role in the planning, recording and publication of podcast episodes – during annual Congresses and across the 12 months in between them.

Patient Community Day

Last year, at ECTRIMS 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Brett’s responsibilities extended to becoming host and moderator of the event’s re-designed Patient Community Day.  A hybrid event that occurred both onsite and online, it presented an opportunity for the international MS community to join a global gathering and learn about the latest development directly impacting ongoing treatment and care strategies.

This year, Brett will fulfil both his podcast and Patient Community Day activities at ECTRIMS 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.  In regard to the latter, the event details are as follows:

Location: Barcelona International Convention Center, Spain, and Online
