ECTRIMS 2024: An Overview

The MStranslate team recently attended the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress 2024, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, between September 17 and 20.

As he has done during the last two Congresses in Amsterdam (2022) and Milan (2023), our Co-founder, Brett Drummond, hosted the official event podcast throughout the duration of the meeting.  This year, in addition to each of the daily highlights episodes, the podcast series was expanded to include some topical features on Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disorder (MOGAD), specialist MS nursing and the ECTRIMS Fellowships.  For ease of access, each of these episodes is available via the links provided below.

PATIENT COMMUNITY DAY

In 2024, the format of the ECTRIMS Patient Community Day event was changed, transitioning from individual podium presentations to two topic focussed panel discussions, also hosted and moderated by Brett.  This event was attended by 400 people in the room in Copenhagen, and was watched live online by more than 2,000 registered participants around the world.
