Could the blood-brain barrier play a role in explaining why more women than men develop multiple sclerosis?

While at the recent Keystone Symposia on “Neuroinflammation in Diseases of the Central Nervous System”, we had the privilege of sitting down with Brian Daniels from the Klein Lab at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  In this video, Brian discusses his research into blood-brain barrier biology in infection and multiple sclerosis, sharing recent findings to address the above question.
